Code of Conduct:
Everyone seeks suitable employment for financial gain and to meet the needs of life. For this purpose, people adopt different professions by which they support themselves and their families. Different rules and regulations are followed in every profession. Whatever profession one takes up, it sets the standard of ethics, standards and values that should be adopted while taking up the profession. Every profession has a specific code of conduct that guides the behavior of individuals. This code should clearly define the values and standards that are expected of the person practicing the profession. The teacher's professional responsibilities can be defined in such a way that it is clear to them the extent to which they must deal with teaching problems and to some extent they must use their skills and experience in their profession. To adopt the profession of teaching, the teaching field provides teachers with a theoretical awareness and knowledge that is relevant to the needs of students.
Need to Adopt Code of Conduct:
In today's competitive environment, it is necessary for teachers to adopt many standards and a prominent code of conduct in their profession. These standards regulate the system, create policies and introduce rules of practice to create the best teaching environment and also ensure high teaching standards. The aim of this process is to improve the quality and capabilities of the teaching profession as we do in other professions. New trends and needs in the field of teaching have created a wide scope for teachers within which they can fulfill their professional responsibilities. Current research in education shows that experts of teaching professional skills need to improve the quality and skills of teachers in order to work with an open-mind. Many methods have been introduced for teachers taking up the teaching profession in order to raise their professional standards which must be adopted in the professional life. This will improve their professional performance.
Different Aspects of Professional Code:
The professional code contains, values and pedagogical standards are present for teachers that are embodied in the teaching experiences of teachers that they have encountered during their effective participation in the educational field. The professional code of conduct should be adopted by all the teachers, it has values and currents which should be practiced because it not only improves the professional performance of the teachers but also the students become interested in education and achieve success. This regulation has three aspects.
(i) Guidance as Compass:
What is compass? A compass is a directional device that helps travelers find their way. The student needs to find the right direction in the journey of education and the teacher plays the role of a compass for this. But a teacher's compass is a discipline and a code of conduct. This acts as a compass to guide the direction of teachers' morals and teaching responsibilities so that they can maintain respect and dignity in their professional responsibilities.
(ii) Needs and Wishes:
In institutions, especially educational institutions, regulations are prepared for the teaching group. The coder always acts as a guide for him and other staff. The teachers' code is prepared keeping in mind their needs and wishes. In which they are informed about their professional needs and desires with an open mind. Keeping in view the regulations, the educational institution bears the responsibility of meeting the educational and academic and financial needs of the teachers.
(iii) Determination:
There is an important commitment to professional life and work in the Code of Conduct. This commitment guides teachers. Teachers' organizations and educational institutions use this commitment as a tool for research and to enforce the rules and regulations of educational institutions. It is aimed to enforce the rules and regulations of educational institutions.
Wrong Attitudes of Teacher:
The misconduct of a teacher is defined as;
(a) To participate in any assembly or function in contravention of a regulation.
(b) Taking wrong or inappropriate behavior against his professional boundaries which proves that the teacher is unfit and unqualified to teach.
Explanation:
Participating in an event by violating the rules and regulations of the school or educational institution means that the teachers participate in such events which are not allowed by the society and morals apart from the rules and regulations and which, apart from the teachers, the quality of the school and It would be an inappropriate and wrong behavior that should be monitored because there is a risk of loss of dignity. On the complaint of any individual against every registered teacher, the head will decide whether the complaint against the teacher is valid. It can be related to the teacher's teaching quality and teaching skills. A strategy to deal with protests at the school level will be determined. The head of institution is confident that the problems encountered in the daily routine of the education system will be dealt with in the best possible way.
Structure of Code:
Keeping the above three objectives in mind, the Code establishes the ethical foundations of the teaching profession, including respect and care. First, trust and honesty are in all the rules. These are all important values to be adopted in the teaching field of male and female teachers. In addition, the code also identifies key steps in the teaching activities of registered teachers. The standards in the Code help teachers to fulfill their professional responsibilities and place them in a position of prominence and emphasize ethical behavior, integrity, professional development, collective values and teamwork.
