Characteristics of reflective teaching:
The power of any profession depends on the intensity of its individuals commitment and teaching has no limitations. The important aspect of the teacher's commitment to teaching is how he would attract his students towards education in a committed manner. What steps he takes to improve student welfare and becomes more effective in general? In many countries, teacher commitment to teaching is of great importance and efforts are made to adapt the quality teacher to the environment, but teacher commitment to teaching is a continuous struggle that is described. It depends on the teacher's personality related to the teacher's beliefs related to the expression of professional competencies.
Principles of Teaching:
The teacher tries to help every student and recognizes each student as an important, valuable and effective member of society. Creates a sense of responsibility among students.
i- Students will not be deterred from the independent pursuit of knowledge.
ii- Students will not be deterred from dissenting opinions.
iii- will not distort the content of the subject material related to the development of the student.
iv- The teacher will protect the students from danger related to education, health and safety.
v- The teacher will not make the students suffer mental confusion and anxiety.
vi- Teacher will not discriminate against the students council, colour, caste, sex, nationality, marriage, political, religious, beliefs and because of social and cultural background.
vii- Will not use professional relationships for personal purposes and interests.
viii- Will not disclose students information.
Sincere to Profession:
The teaching profession demands trust and responsibility from the teacher as they are the highest ideals of professional service. The profession of teaching has a direct impact on the nation and citizens, so the teacher should make every possible effort to raise the quality of his education. An environment should be fostered which helps in taking decisions in a professional manner. A situation should be created in which teachers feel happy to be associated with the teaching profession and the teaching profession should be saved from those who are not qualified. Being a teacher he must be able to keep the secrets to himself while performing the responsibilities of the profession and should not hide the facts related to his abilities and qualifications and should not represent himself falsely.
i-He should not favour a person who is not qualified.
ii- Do not give or create false opinion about the qualification of any candidate.
iii- Do not assist non-educators in teaching.
iv- Do not disclose information about his colleagues to anyone as this information is a trust they receive during the service. He should not make false or misleading statements about his colleagues.
v- Do not accept gifts or money from anyone in the professional life.
