Professionalism:

Who is considered a professional?

Professionalism comes from the duties and responsibilities that a professional performs for the benefit of the public at all times. Members of any profession are bound to act to a professional standard. This means that the client's interest is very important and their work should be done in a professional manner. It is argued that what is attached to the professional gives motivation to the client, it comes out of the nature of the professional's work, what is given to the professional, services are offered to a professional. The duty to supervise the client's work in a professional manner consists of several duties.

These duties are as follows.

Who is considered a professional?

* Duty to act with due or reasonable care.

* Duty to keep client information appropriate.

* Indifference, careless performance of duties.

* Duty to perform client's work satisfactorily.

* Do not allow dishonesty to interfere with your duties.

Consequently it treats the members of the profession as if they are treated in a professional spirit with all the principles of the profession. The question is, what are the guiding principles for the business of the profession? Such as what to do in certain situations.

Both the terms profession and professor have their root in the Latin word "Profess". To be a professional or a professor it is important to be a profess, which means to be an expert in a particular skill or field of knowledge.

In 1975, Hoyle gave the definition of professionalism as;

Advocacy and implementation of strategies to seek improvement in status, pay and conditions of members of a profession is called professionalism.

In another research, Hoyle has said. Professionalism is concerned with improving the quality and status of services.

 Naylor described this concept as a multidimensional construct that consists of an individual's behavior and attitudes related to his or her job and includes high levels of education and quality of work. If we so far analyse this definition we will interpret it as;

Professionalism is a multifaceted structure consisting of an individual's work attitude and orientation to improve the performance and quality of services.
