Problems of modern age and responsibilities of
Teachers
Life is becoming more complex and an efficient
organization is essential to function in a complex society. The school can
never succeed in achieving its goals by being isolated from the society.
Certain responsibilities are assigned to the parents and
therefore it is felt necessary to determine the rights and duties of the
society, parents, teachers and students.
So that these members of the society can give the country
a good place among the developed countries with their utmost struggle and coordinated efforts.
But the question arises, who will create this interrelationship?
We also have to take care that this freedom of every corner of the society does not exceed its constructive limits.
Here again, a
trained teacher comes into play as he has the ability to reinforce this
inter-relationship with the help of various measures and new techniques, as
well as the ability to effectively run the educational program on the lines. It
is to be expected from him that he will make connections in the important areas
of life and use them effectively for the development of the school.
In developing countries, highly talented people avoid
entering the teaching profession, and indeed the majority of people in the
field are forced by the circumstances to take up teaching jobs. And in our
country too, vocational education is generally adopted by those people who are
forced by circumstances or cannot find a place in other fields of their choice.
In these
circumstances, it is important that this problem is given importance in the
national planning and necessary incentives are given to the competent people to
join the training program. In the modern era, it is mandatory for the teacher
to be fully aware of the new training techniques and to be able to use these
techniques correctly according to the trends in the curriculum.
