The role of a teacher in education:

A teacher has to play many roles in teaching. Only then the personality of a new generation is transformed into a well useful nation and a balanced personality emerges. Children are capable of being liked in society. Become useful and effective for themselves and others. For this work he uses his capabilities.

Importance of a teacher:

 

A teacher is a child like clay and teachers can mould a child into any shape. Whatever a child learns, he learns from his parents, and then from teachers, because they impart education and knowledge to him . Teachers have as much importance as parents in a student's life. They become a motivating factor, confidence booster and moral guide.

 

From schools, colleges and universities, students everywhere need teachers to guide them to improve their future. Despite his stern personality, he is kind and loving to his students. For all these reasons the role of a teacher in one's life cannot be ignored. A teacher's duties include grading, assigning homework and maintaining good communication with parents so that parents are fully informed of all children's activities, and parents and teachers can work together to create a role model that not only be better for themselves, but also be a time to enrich the society.

Students understand anything with real life, real life examples easily and quickly.

A teacher gives examples from real life as he himself knows the ups and downs in real life situations to different subjects. So he  tries to make it understandable for his students. Teachers understand what students need because they are closely  associated. 

A teacher teaches difficult topics with the help of examples, demonstration and information it also makes it easier for students to understand well.

 

The following roles are played by the teacher to produce a capable society.

1               1. The teacher as a leader:

The teacher as a leader is of great importance. The teacher guides the children in all aspects so that their personality becomes balanced. 

The teacher guides the following issues: 

i- The teacher guides the students in the subjects due to which the students build their future. 

ii- The teacher guides the students in their academic and other problems. 

iii- They guide the students in choosing their professions. 

iv- Students also get guidance regarding their social problems. 

v- The teacher always guides in the educational affairs of the students.

 

 

                               2.Social guidance:

The teacher guides the students socially, morally and emotionally. The teacher should guide the children with sincerity. 

He should guide everyone equally. Keep love, compassion, love and compassion in guidance. The teacher himself should have qualities like confidence, courage, intelligence, judgment, etc., so that he can guide the children in a good way. 

If there are difficulties in guiding the children, he can consult other teachers. One can also take help from modern books.

 

3. The teacher as an administrator:

The teacher as an administrator needs to be planned and organized in order to do a job in a better way and to achieve its related objectives. Students come to school for education. The number of students in each school is sufficient and they belong to different families and regions. So it is necessary to organize them. Maintaining discipline in school is must for teaching. The teacher has to do many things as an organizer in the school. The teacher has to play following responsibilities;

1.Lesson planning.

 

2. Organise school activities and ceremonies.

 

3.To establish discipline in the school.

4.Respecting the academic record of students.

 

5.Organizing morning assembly and selecting students and teachers for it.

 

6.Proper management of sports in school.

 

7.Collecting and arranging various dues from stimulating. 

8.Taking the attendance request of the students and keeping a record of it.

 

9.And managing laboratories in school.

 

10- To prepare and implement the force list of teachers and students.

 

11- Conducting examinations at different times in school and keeping records of it. All the activities of the school should be adopted according to the age, situation, problems, abilities and tendencies of the children. Regular times should be fixed for all activities of the school so that the discipline of the school is not broken. Administrative matters should also be reviewed. So that they keep changing according to the situation, the children get used to discipline from the school organization. They are aware of the social values. Works are done on time. Teaching is simple and effective.

 

     Teacher as messenger:

A teacher is also a messenger, he imparts information, experiences and facts in various ways to students and their parents, thereby guiding and developing them. Children develop in all aspects. Therefore, the teacher should continue to study so that he is aware of new knowledge and experiences. In the present era, there are new revolutions, so the teacher should not stay away from these revolutions because his work is such that New information is desperately needed. 

For this he should do the following;

*Study new sciences and arts. 

*Review and master teaching methods.

 Review new interpretations:

 

*Attend the refresher course to get new information.

 

*Express the ideas in various educational conferences and benefit from the ideas of others.

* Survey various quality institutions and benefit from their educational style. Consult and discuss with other experienced teachers.

*Review different types of research work. *Participate in various social activities. 

This will give him a lot of information. Keeping these issues in mind, the teacher can give new ideas and accurate information to the children. If the teacher fails to do this, the children will call him an old teacher and he will not be able to adapt to the demands of the new age. 

The teacher as text examiner:

The last step in teaching is examination or evaluation. It is the most important stage in the educational stages through which the ability and knowledge of the teacher and the students is revealed. It shows that the students have acquired some knowledge and to what extent the teachers have succeeded in their objective. It improves both the students and the teachers. 

Duties of teacher in teaching:

In teaching, the teacher also has to perform the duties of the examiner. For this he has to adopt different methods. For example, during teaching evaluation, partial examination, short examination, final examination, annual examination, board examination, oral examination and written examination are included.

 

Regular Record of Examinations:

The teacher prepares a regular record of the examinations. It is reported to the students, parents, teachers and the head teacher. It is a very hard work for the teacher. Impartiality is an important issue in children's literature. It is more required in the exam. These exams are also important because based on their results, students can be promoted to the next class and get jobs. If there is any error in them, the future of the child is at risk of getting worse or the society will be disturbed, so the teachers should conduct the exam with diligence and compile their results with diligence.

 An external parent:

The teacher becomes an external parent to the students because they spend a lot of time together at school. A teacher's role goes beyond work schedules and teaching a specific curriculum. They continue to work to bring out the best in their students.

Conclusion:

A teacher's role is beyond the traditional thinking that a teacher only teaches students. They were used to following a specific curriculum and had to learn how to teach the curriculum. But in modern conditions the role of the teacher is not limited. Today, he continues to teach students, guide students, and impart practical knowledge.
